Cherry Pie


2 prepared pie crusts 
1 egg 
1 Tbsp melted butter 
2 cans cherry pie filling
1 tsp water
1 Tbsp sugar


In a large bowl, mix cherry pie filling, and sugar. Set aside. Line a glass pie plate with 1 of the prepared pie crusts. Spoon the cherry pie filling into pie crust and dot pie filling with butter. Top the filling with the second pie crust and fold the top and bottom crusts together, pressing the edge to seal it. In a small bowl, combine egg with water and whisk until it’s completely blended and uniform in color. Brush top crust with egg wash then sprinkle with sugar. Cut 3-4 slits in top of the pie. Bake at 350oF for 45 minutes.
