Crock Pot Lasagna


  • 10-oz lasagna noodles, break into bite size pieces (about 10 noodles) 
  • 1/2 lb lean ground beef or ground round 
  • 1/2 lb lean pork sausage 
  • 1 onion, finely chopped 
  • 1 clove garlic 
  • 12-oz cottage or ricotta cheese 
  • 16-oz mozzarella cheese, shredded (reserve some cheese to put on top for last 20 minutes or so) 
  • 26-oz spaghetti sauce 
  • salt and pepper to taste 


Saute meat, onions & garlic and drain well. Grease 5-Quart slow cooker with shortening. Mix the rest of the ingredients together and add with meat mixture. Cook 3-5 hours on high heat or 7-8 hours on low heat, or try 1 hour high then 5 hours on low.
