Peach Dump Cake


2 15-oz cans peaches in heavy syrup (you can also use ‘lite’ or ‘no sugar added’ if you don’t want it too sweet) 
1 box vanilla cake mix
2 sticks unsalted butter
½ tsp ground cinnamon


Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9x13 cake pan; sprinkle half of the cake mix in the bottom of the pan. Pour peaches with juice evenly around the pan on top of the cake mix. Sprinkle the remaining half of cake mix over the peaches. Sprinkle cinnamon on top. Cut sticks of butter very thinly (try to get as many slices as possible!) to cover as much of the cake mix with butter to prevent dry cake mix spots. Bake until top is golden brown, approximately 40-45 minutes.
