Zesty Cheese & Bacon Dip


12-oz Velveeta cheese cubed 
1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 lb bacon, diced 
2 Tbsp ranch seasoning 
1 tsp garlic powder
1 10-oz can diced tomatoes and green chilies
1 tsp hot sauce (optional)


Cook the diced bacon over medium-high heat until slightly crisp. Remove the bacon from the pan and drain the grease, set bacon aside. Reduce heat to medium-low and place skillet back on the heat. Add the cubed Velveeta cheese, shredded cheddar, ranch seasoning, garlic powder, diced tomatoes and green chilies, and hot sauce (if desired) to pan. Stir continuously until cheese is melted. Stir the bacon into the dip. Serve immediately with your favorite chips!
