Fall is in the air! It’s time to ensure all the HVAC contractors are insured and ready for the calls they will receive as the weather changes. We have many options for these types of contractors. We can offer coverage for the contractor who sells heating and air systems as long as he also installs and services the systems or an HVAC contractor that only does the installation and repair work. In addition to the general liability coverage, we can offer limited pollution coverage for designated operations and a project general aggregate limit when required by contract.
Some of our markets also offer an artisan contractor extension form which gives additional insured status with a waiver of transfer of rights of recovery. This gives desired additional insureds automatic status when required by a written contract. This can be offered excluding completed operations or including completed operations.
